Jump Then Fall

I like the way you sound in the morning
We're on the phone and without a warning
I realize your laugh is the best sound I have ever heard

I like the way I can't keep my focus
I watch you talk you didn't notice
I hear the words but all I can think is we should be together

Every time you smile, I smile
and every time you shine, I'll shine for you

Whoa oh I'm feeling you baby
Don't be afraid to jump then fall, jump then fall into me

Baby, I'm never gonna leave you,
Say that you wanna be with me too
Cause I'm gonna stay through it all so jump then fall

Well, I like the way your hair falls in your face
You got the keys to me I love each freckle on your face, oh,
I've never been so wrapped up,
Honey, I like the way you're everything I've ever wanted

I had time to think it oh-over and all I can say is come closer,
Take a deep breath and jump then fall into me

Every time you smile, I smile
And every time you shine, I'll shine for you

Whoa oh I'm feeling you baby
Don't be afraid to jump then fall, jump then fall into me

Baby, I'm never gonna leave you,
Say that you wanna be with me too
Cause I'm gonna stay through it all so jump then fall

The bottom's gonna drop out from under our feet
I'll catch you, I'll catch you
When people say things that bring you to your knees,
I'll catch you
The time is gonna come when you're so mad you could cry
But I'll hold you through the night until you smile

Whoa oh I need you baby
Don't be afraid please
jump then fall, jump then fall into me

Baby, I'm never gonna leave you,
Say that you wanna be with me too
Cause I'm gonna through it all so jump then fall

Jump then fall baby
Jump then fall into me, into me

Every time you smile, I smile
and every time you shine, I'll shine
And every time you're here Baby, I'll show you, I'll show you
you can jump then fall, jump then fall, jump then fall into me, into me

Yeah

catching up...

I have been sooo busy with school that I just have not had the time to catch up with the blog...

  • last quarter was one of the busiest and stressful quarters that I have been through. I did not have the best grades, but I got through the quarter somewhat all in one peace...
  • I had the best, and quietiest spring break. I worked a couple of days and then read and relaxed around my place in Ellensburg and spring cleaned!
  • Easter was a quiet affair...My Mom brought Easter dinner for the roomies and I and we hung around all day...Thanks Mom!
  • I LOVE all of my classes this quarter.
  • I am reminded everyday of the amazing friends I have
  • BASEBALL IS BACK~! In all of its glory. I love it.

what a funny little guy

We noticed last quarter that the cat had begun to lay smack dab between Chelsea's and my rooms while we are both in them. We quickly figured out that he likes both doors open a crack so he can not only see whats going on in each room, but so he can wander back and forth to get attention. He doesnt like to be locked in one of our rooms either. He wants to be able to move between rooms. As Chelsea goes to bed earlier than I do, and is up earlier than I am, this simply does not work...and so every night is the same routine of him visiting chelsea, moving to the hall, and then coming to my room until I go to bed where he then moves to the couch for the night.

Perhaps the funniest thing he has ever done...happened the other day. We had left over chicken wings from the super bowl...we were eating a couple of them, and had left the reminents on a plate. Chelsea and I were talking in the other room, and when I came back, he was knawing away it. When he realized we had caught him, he picked that chicken bone up so fast and ran for under a bed...I had no idea he could move so quickly. Sadly for him, Chelsea moves quicker and he was denied a tasty treat.

random.

  1. We all know the cat is illegal here at TPark. So it makes things quite interesting when we found out that they were doing fire extinguisher/alarm checks this week. We have to completely remove any traces of cat. As many of our friends have graduated we had no place to stick him. Chelsea and I this morning did a swap. Chelsea packed him up in her car from 9 - 10:40ish, where I took over until 12pm...It actually worked out well as I just read for class as he laid on my lap in the car. Im not going to pretend there were not weird stares and im sure people thought I was nuts. Oh well. Uncle Kyle [our friend] graciously took the cat from 1 until we picked him back up around 6. We were lucky our inspection was today and we dont have to worry about tomorrow.
  2. I absolutely Love Chelsea Lately. I watch it everynight as I wind down for bed. It is a total guilty pleasure that is absolutely hilarious. For those that dont know...its a round table of comedians that make fun of all the celebs and other ding dongs of the world, and then have a pretty funny interview. It makes it even more fun when I know Mel is watching it and we text about it back and forth...thats real sister bonding time I tell you
  3. Was it just me...or was the super bowl really lame this year?! where were the commercials? Either way its over and that means that spring training is prettymuch a month away...and we all know baseball is the best season ever.
  4. Knock on wood, but the snow just might be gone for the season...its getting progressively warmer everyday. So warm the kids are playing outside everyday now. So warm It makes me want to walk to school again. Its staying lighter longer, and that spring smell is in the air. Not to mention that Chels bbqed the other night...mmmm I cannot wait until we bbq every night
  5. super stoked to find that my first class everday next quarter is 11am. I am not a morning person. I have a hard time getting up for my 9am class. Especially with all the homework I have had and having to be up late. I love 11 am classes...better yet...im still done by 3:30. Im okay with that.
  6. Trying to drink less diet coke and more crystal light. its. not. easy. it gives me the caffiene I need to get through my day. Must find alternate solution
  7. I can seriously feel the non exercise I havent been doing. Walking to school was really great. Last Friday Chels and I went on a really really long walk...it was glorious. We walked down to Safeway and came home with a $5 pizza. Its just. so. tempting. I must find time to workout. A goal for next week!
  8. Friday nights are now Movie nights and if its $5...pizza. We are so social it amazes even us.
  9. Excited for my Mama to come this weekend...we decided to go visit a friend's winery in Yakima. Should be a fun day!
  10. IT annoys me when people complain about Valentines Day. So you dont have a BF or GF. Who cares? Its about sharing the love with all those in your life... Get over yourself and move on okay? okay.
  11. I am in a love phase with yogurt right now [most of the time its a hate relationship] I found this amazingly delcious one...red velvet yoplait...light. Yep. Light. And its very yummy. Tonight I had a banana creme pie one. Ive found it craves my super super sweet tooth. Go me.
  12. I love love love Lady Antebellum. They are my new favorite band to listen to. I think they are simply amazing. Great voices, great songs, great music. Dont worry though, T-Swift is still my favorite, and maybe its because I'm tone deaf...but I liked her grammy performance and thought she was amazing life....so theres my two cents.
  13. and finally... I am super stoked that Melissa will be here in less than a month! I miss my eldest sister terribly and cant wait for Mom and daughters night when she is here, as well as celebrating her, Jake's and Quincy's birthdays.

I think 13 randoms is good for tonight. Plus its time for Chelsea Lately.

Wait...I got an A?!

As a history major, I write alot of papers...In fact, our senior exit class is just 10 weeks of researching and writing a 20-25 page paper. You quickly learn who the easy and hard paper graders are, and as I have chosen to take the majority of my classes in American History, I get the same professors. I have had Dr. Blair the most..4 times. I love her. I think she is a fantastic lecturer and prof. But I have always struggled with writing papers in her class. Sophomore year I got C's on two papers I worked extremely hard on. Last quarter I got a B on a paper I thought was stellar. I wrote a paper in haste on the day I thought was due...suprise I had left class early and did not know that the paper was due the next week. I got an extra opportunity to re-edit. We then came to class and had our peers revise and edit and we had the opportunity to go home and make even more changes. My paper recieved ALOT of criticism from my peers. I read other papers who I thought were overwritten, and some that made me think I had misinterpreted the assignment. I went home again and revised, re-edited and luckily caught that my paper was in present tense when it should be in past. I thought about changing a lot of things, but as I had alot of other homework to do...I left it, changed what I could and turned it in..worried about the grade.

I had to meet with Dr. Blair on Monday to go over next quarters schedule. When I came into the office the secretary was photocopying my paper...umm why? was it that bad? Was she going to use it as a dont ever do this! example? did she think I plagerized? what the heck? When she came out to get me she told me I had a great paper! I was shocked speechless! She told me it was well put together, well constructed, well written and that she was impressed!

She wrote on my paper that I had confident writing, and that my paper was coherent which was hard to pull off, and that it was a strong tightly constructed examination and that I stuck to my themes. At the bottom...my coveted A.

Im so so so happy and proud of myself that I just simply had to brag a little bit! :)

now I have a lot to live up to.. :)

Family {Roomie} Dinner Nights

Somehow this quarter we have established a weekly tradition of sitting down at the table as roomates to a nice home cooked meal [one night a week]. We have decided to officially trade off weeks. As dorky as it sounds, this is the third year that Chels and I have lived together and our second with Sarah and the cat. Since we rarely go home we jokingly refer to ourselves as a family. Hince the Family dinners.

Sarah made a delicious dinner tonight of homeade meatloaf, rosemary potatoes and greenbeans...aboslutely delicious! As many readers may or may not know, Chels' dad owns Kings Command a meat company whose chief product is...meatloaf. you know those meatloafs in the deli at the grocery store? Kings Command. Anyway whenever we have meatloaf it is always a KC one and this was the first time Chelsea could recall having an actual homeade meatloaf so it was special indeed! :)

I have dinner next week...im looking for stellar recipies now as my favorite/super star dish...Enchiladas have now been overtaken by Sarah's yummy enchi's...im taking suggestions! :)

Another tradition is...Muffin Tuesday. Chelsea started it when she made muffins during the Biggest Loser a few weeks past...and we have continued to have muffins on tuesday [and the rest of the week...] while we watch the Biggest Loser.

I know we are so cool.
